Announcements & Prayer—Week of June 23, 2024

Announcements:
  1. Online Ministry Meeting: Online Ministry Meeting: Join the weekly ministry meeting every Thursday, 7:30 PM. Zoom links: English || Cebuano.
  2. Middle Age Training (MAT) Online: MAT Module 1 will be held online from August 10, 2024 to January 12, 2025. Application for new trainees is open. Donation fee: 1,000. Deadline: June 30, 2024.
  3. Upcoming Conferences/Trainings:
    • Summer School of Truth (SSOT): June 27-30, 2024. Venue: Meeting Hall of the church in Zamboanga. Registered trainees should check-in before 10 am on June 27. The evening sessions are open to the working saints.
    • College-Age Two-Week Training in Iligan: July 8-20, 2024. 
    • Special Conference: July 11-14, 2024. Bro. William Bahandi will be visiting the church in Zamboanga. More details to be announced. 
    • International College Training in Asia (ICTA): July 24-30, 2024. Venue: Full-time training center in Malabon. 
    • Semiannual Training via Zoom: August 5-18, 2024. Every evening, except for Thursday. For registered saints, please be reminded to pay P125 for the donation fee and outline.
Prayer items:
  1. For the saints to run the Christian race with endurance and by looking away unto Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith (Heb. 12:1-2).
    For the saints to build up a habit of contacting people for the gospel (1 Cor. 9:16-27).  
  2. For the Summer School of Truth (SSOT) this June 27-30; pray the hearts of the young people would be good ground for the Lord’s word, and that this time would truly be a “restaurant” of truth in which the tasty dishes and the healthy teaching of God’s economy are served to the young people for their constitution and enjoyment unto the building up of the Body of Christ.
  3. For the strengthening of the church life throughout the coming months and all the activities:
    • College-age two-week training in Iligan (July 8-20)
    • Special conference with Bro. William Bahandi (July 11-14)
    • Semiannual video training (August 5-18)
  4. The gospel outreach and Bible distribution at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris–Distribution during the Torch Relay began on May 6 and will continue until July 17; after this, distribution will take place in French-speaking Europe during the Olympic and Paralympic Games until September 9; let us pray for the follow up with those who have already been contacted and that the Lord would prepare and bring the saints into contact with many “sons of peace” (Luke 10:6)
