DO YOU KEEP YOUR REPENTING PRAYER CONTINUOUSLY?
Repenting prayer is a particular kind of prayer that we must keep continuously. If there is any prayer without repenting, that prayer is nearly in vain.… Even if we do not lose our temper or speak evil words, we are still sinful…. We should say, “Lord, I still need Your forgiveness, and I still need Your cleansing with Your precious blood.” Then we can pray.
We all need some particular time to repent so that we can pray. The degree to which we can pray depends upon the degree to which we have repented. Daniel, in his book, set up a good example. In Daniel 9 we see that he made a long repentance and confession when he prayed. While he was praying and confessing, he received a revelation of the seventy weeks, but Daniel 9 is mostly occupied with his confession. He repented and confessed not only for himself but also for his people and for his forefathers. So quite often when you repent for yourself, you have to repent for the church. Do not forget the church, because you are one with the church. If you are dirty, surely your church is dirty.
If you ask me how many times we should repent and confess, my answer is that the number of times is countless. We need to repent and confess throughout the day and every day.… Romans 8:4 says that the righteous requirement of the law is fulfilled in those who walk according to the spirit. Do you have the assurance that all day you do everything in the spirit? I must tell you that no one can do this. But you can pray a prayer of repentance. No one can always keep his hands thoroughly clean, but he can wash his hands. We need a continuous washing in the precious blood of Christ (1 John 1:7).
A number of Christians think that as long as they believe in the Lord, everything will be all right. They believe that Christ is their righteousness regardless of what sinful and worldly things they do. Such Christians, needless to say, are very loose and unhealthy.… If we are walking, living, and behaving ourselves in darkness today, how could we hope that in the coming age the Lord will bring us directly into glory? The Bible is not a sugarcoated book. It is full of warnings…. We need to be vitalized so that we can be brought on to maturity to receive the Lord’s reward in the next age instead of His discipline. NAKAPABILIN BA KA SA PAGPADAYON SA IMONG PAG-AMPO SA PAGHINULSOL?
Ang pag-ampo sa paghinulsol usa ka partikular nga pag-ampo nga kinahanglan padayon tang makapabilin niini. Kon dunay pag-ampo nga walay paghinulsol.. duol sa kakawangan kanang pag-ampoa… bisan wala ta masuko o namulong sa daotang pulong, masal-anon gihapon ta… moingon gyod ta, “Ginoo, nagkinahanglan gihapon ko sa imong pagpasaylo, ug nagkinahanglan gihapon ko sa paghinlo sa imong bililhong dugo.” maka-ampo dayon ta.
Nagkinahanglan tang tanan sa pipila ka mga partikular nga panahon alang sa paghinulsol aron nga maka-ampo ta. nagdepende ang kadako sa atong pag-ampo sa kadako sa atong pagsugid. Si Daniel, sa iyang basahon, maoy nagpahamutang ingog maayong sumbanan. Makita nato sa Daniel 9 nga nagbuhat siyag taas nga paghinulsol ug pagsugid sa nag-ampo siya… Samtang naghinulsol ug nisugid siya, nakadawat siyag pinadayag kalabot sa 70 ka semana, apan kalab-anan nga naokupahan ang Daniel 9 sa iyang pagsugid. Wala ra siya naghinulsol ug nisugid alang sa iya rang kaugalingon apan alang sab sa iyang mga katawhan ug alang sa iyang mga amahan. Busa usahay kon maghinulsol ka alang sa imong kaugalingon, kinahanglan maghinulsol sab ka alang sa iglesia. ayaw kalimti ang iglesia, tungod kay usa ka sa iglesia. Kon hugaw ka, sigurado nga hugaw sab ang imong iglesia.
Kon mangutana ka nako kon ikapila ka beses nga maghinulsol ta ug mosugid, motubag gyod ko nga dili maihap ang ikapila ka beses. kinahanglan maghinulsol ug mosugid ta sa tibuok adlaw ug adlaw-adlaw ….niingon ang Roma 8:4 nga ang matarong nga gipangayo sa kasugoan matuman ra sa mga naggawi segun sa espiritu. duna ba kay kasigurohan nga naggawi ka segun sa imong espiritu adlaw-adlaw? mosulti gyod ko nim nga walay usa ang makahimo niini. Apan maka-ampo ta sa ampo nga naghinulsol. Wala gyoy usa nga makapabilin kanunay nga limpyo ang iyang mga kamot, apan makahugas siya sa iyang kamot. nagkinahanglan tag nagpadayong paghugas diha sa bililhong dugo ni Cristo.
Naghunahuna ang pipila sa mga cristohanon nga basta nitoo sila diha sa Ginoo, hapsay na ang tanan. Nitoo sila nga si Cristo ang pagkamatarong bisan pa og masal-anon ug kalibotanon ang gibuhat nila. mga luag ug dili himsog ning mga cristohanona. …kon naggawi, nagkinabuhi, ug nagbatasan ta diha sa kangitngit karon, unsaon man ta maanaay paglaom diha sa moabotay nga kapanahonan nga dad-on ta sa Ginoo sa himaya? dili basahon nga pinutos-sa-asukar ang biblia. Puno hinoon kini sa pagpasidaan. Dunay lima ka dagkong mga pasidaan ang basahon sa Hebreohanon (2:1-4; 3:7-4:13; 5:11-6:20; 10:19-39; 12:1-29). Kinahanglan mahimo gyod ta malagsik aron madala ta sa pagkahamtong sa pagdawat sa ganti sa Ginoo diha sa sunod nga kapanahonan imbis nga madisiplina.
