THE WAY TO BE EQUIPPED FOR THE HOME MEETINGS–THE PRACTICAL WAY TO EXPERIENCE CHRIST
If the Lord is not the Spirit, how could we be one spirit with Him? If we are going to enjoy Christ, to experience Christ, first of all we have to realize that this Christ today is the anointed One, full of the Spirit, and that we are joined to Him as one spirit. Prior to the day we heard the gospel and were inspired to believe in the Lord Jesus, we did whatever we desired by ourselves. On the day we called on His name, we were saved and attached to the anointed One. We were made one spirit with our Savior. We may realize this fact, but the way we talk to others exposes whether or not we know the way to experience Christ. The right way to talk to others is to exercise our spirit. How do we exercise our spirit to contact the Lord? How do we practice this? According to my experience, the best way is to pray. To pray does not mean that I have to go into my bedroom and close the door. I can pray spontaneously, “Lord, I am going to have a time with my brother. Lord, be with me. Be one with me.” Before going to see my brother, I may have to go to the restroom. While I am going to the restroom, I can pray, “Lord, thank You that You are my life and You are my utterance.” While I am in the restroom, I can pray. All the time I can pray. Then while the brother is in the next room, I pray, “Lord, be my talk. Lord, be my utterance. Even, Lord, be the sentences that I am going to speak to my brother.” We should practice this way all the time, realizing that the Lord is really one with us. Eventually, we will experience that this very Christ to whom God has attached us and with whom we have become one spirit is just our conversation. Our conversation with a brother is just Christ. Christ is so rich. He is our utterance, our thought, our word, and our expression. He is the very content of our conversation. He is the entire conversation. This is an experience of the riches of Christ.
According to my observation, not many Christians experience Christ and enjoy Him today in this way. Even among us I am very concerned. Message after message has been given, but when we come to the practical things in our daily life, we are persons without Christ. In dealing with our wives, we are persons without Christ. In handling things, we are persons without Christ. In studying lesson books, we are persons without Christ. We practice being one spirit with the Lord only at our ordained time for prayer. Even in most of the meetings, we do not practice this enough. I could not come to a meeting to speak to the saints without praying, “Lord, You have to vindicate that I am one spirit with You. I do not like to go there, Lord, to speak by myself. You have to go with me. You have to be my thought there. You have to be my feeling there in my speaking. You have to be the words, even the terms and the expressions of my speaking. Lord, even You have to be the speaking.” Without such a prayer, I just would have no boldness to come to speak. Even though I have obtained a lot of knowledge of the Bible, I do not trust in that. Of course, we need Bible knowledge. But we have to speak not just with the words or verses from the Bible. In our speaking, we must be one spirit with the Lord.
I beg you all to practice this. Do not take this as just another message. Since I came to this country, over three thousand messages have been given and printed. Yet the living of some of the saints makes me sorrowful. So many have heard and read the messages and even participated in the trainings in which they were given. Yet in daily life the messages are gone. The messages could be lived out only when you have the practical experience of being one spirit with the Lord. Kon dili Espiritu ang Ginoo, unsaon man nato pagka-usa Kaniya? kon buot natong mapahimuslan si Cristo, masinati ni Cristo, una sa tanan kinahanglan amgohan gyod nato nga kining Cristo karon mao ang dinihogan nga Usa, puno sa Espiritu, ug nadugtong na ta Niya karon ingog usa ka espiritu. Nagbuhat ta sa unsay gustong buhaton nato saw ala pa ang adlaw nga nakadugong ta sa ebanghelyo ug naghandom nga motoo ni Ginoong Jesus. Naluwas ug nadugtong ta Kaniya, sa adlaw nga nitawag ta sa Iyang ngalan. Nahimong usa ka espiritu ta uban sa atong Manluluwas. Namgohan tingali nato kining kamatuorana, apan makapabutyag kanato kon nasinati ba nato si Cristo o wala sa pamaagi nato sa pagpakigsulti sa uban. Ang hustong paagi nga makigsultianay sa uban mao man ang paggamit sa espiritu. Unsaon man naton pagbansay sa pagamit sa atong espiritu sa pagkontak sa Ginoo? Unsaon man nato pagbatasan niini? Sumala sa akong kasinatian, ang labing maayong paagi mao ang pag-ampo. Wala magpasabot ang pag-ampo nga kinahanglan moadto ko sa akong higdaanan ug sirad-an ang pultahan. Maka-ampo ko diha-dayon, “Ginoo, maanaa koy panahon uban sa akong igsoong lalaki. Ginoo, maanaa ka Kanako. Mausa ka kanako.” Maka-ampo ko, “ Ginoo, salamat kay Ikaw akong kinabuhi ug ikaw akong pagpamulong.” Samtang anaa ko sa banyo, maka-ampo ko, “Ginoo, ikaw akong pagpanulti. Ginoo, ikaw akong pagpamulong. Bisan Ginoo, ikaw ang mga pulong nga ipamulong nako sa akong igsoong lalaki.” Bansayon gyod nato ning paagiha matag panahon, nga dunay pagka-amgo nga anaa gyod ang Ginoo nausa kanato. Sa ngadto-ngadto, masinati nato nga kining Cristo nga diin gidugtong sa Dios kanato ug diin nahimong usa ka espiritu ta Kaniya maoy nahimong natong pagpakigsulti sa uban. si Cristo ang atong pagpakigsulti sa igsoong lalaki. Dato kaayo si Cristo. Siya atong pagpamulong, atong gihunahuna, atong pulong, ug atong pagpadayag. Siya ang sulod sa atong pagpakigsultianay. Siya ang tibuok pakigsultianay. Kini ang kasinatian sa kadato ni Cristo.
Sumala s ana-obserbahan nako, dili daghan sa mga cristohanon nga nagsinati ni Cristo ug nagpahimulos Kaniya ning paagiha. Nagtagad gyod ko pag-ayo bisan taliwala nato. Naghatag na og mensahe kada mensahe, apan kon maabot na ngani sa mga praktikal nga butang sa atong adlaw-adlaw kinabuhi, mga tawo ta nga walay Cristo. Mga tawo tang walay Cristo sa sa pagpakigbatok nato sa atong mga asawa. Mga tawo tang walay Cristo sa pagkupot nato sa tanang butang. Mga tawo tang walay Cristo sa pagtuon nato sa mga pagtulon-an. Nagbatasan ra ta nga mausa ka espiritu uban sa Ginoo sa gitudlo nga panahon sa pag-ampo. bisan man ngani sa kadaghanan sa atong mga tigom wala kaayo ta nagbansay niini. Dili ko makatambong sa tigom aron mamulong sa mga balaan nga wala pag-ampo, Ginoo, magpanghimatuod ka nga usa ka espiritu ko uban Nimo. Dili ko gusto moadto didto, Ginoo, nga mamulong sa akong kaugalingon ra. Mag-uban gyod ka Nako. Kinahanglan Ikaw gyod ang mahimong hunahuna nako didto. Kinahanglan Ikaw ang mahimo nakong pagbati didto sa mamulong ko. Kinahanglan mahimo Lang akong pulong, bisan ang mga terminop ug ang pinadayag sa akong pagpamulong. Ginoo, bisan man ngani Ikaw ang mahimong pagpamulong.” Kon walay sama niini nga pag-ampo, wala gyod koy kaisog nga mamulong. Bisan nakakab-ot kog daghang mga kahibalo sa biblia, wala gyod ko mosalig niini. Oo, sigurado gyod nga nagkinahanglan ta sa kahibalo sa biblia. Apan kinahanglan mamulong ta nga dili lang pulong o mga bersikulo gikan sa biblia. Kinahanglan usa ka espiritu ta sa Ginoo sa atong pagpamulong.
Naghangyo ko ninyo nga batasanon kini. Ayaw kini himoa nga lahi na sab nga mensahe. Lampas tulo ka libo na ang mga mensahe nga akong nahatag ug na-imprinta, sukad nga niabot ko ning nasura. Apan makapaguol kanako ang pagkinabuhi sa pipila ka mga balaan. Daghan ang mga nakadungog ug nakabasa sa mga mensahe ug nakatambong ug naka-apil man ngani sa mga pagbansay diin gihatag ning mga mensahea. Apan Nawala ang mga mensahe sa adlaw-adlawng pagkinabuhi. Ikinabuhi lang nato ang mga mensahe kon duna kay praktikal nga kasinatain sa pagkahimong usa ka espiritu uban sa Ginoo.
