  1. Morning Revival: Week 3 of HWMR God’s Economy in Faith
  2. Blending with the church in Clarin: Saints from Clarin will be coming to blend with us again from August 19-22, 2022. In preparation for their coming, there will be a general cleaning at the meeting hall this afternoon at 2 PM. Kindly coordinate with the full-time serving ones assigned in your cluster.
  3. Visitation to the church in Siocon: A number of saints will be visiting the church in Siocon this coming August 26-29, 2022.
  4. Life-study Reading: Beginning this week, the church will be pursuing the Life-study of Ephesians. Hard copy of the Life-study is available from GBPI. You may order your copy from Sis.   5. ITERO October 2022: ITERO video training for the serving brothers will be held in October for 4 days. Cost of the training: P700. Details to follow.
  6. New Article from Healthy Teaching: A new article has been posted in the Healthy Teaching website entitled: Quarantine in the Bible and its Misuse (2): The Misuse of Quarantine. The article is available both in English and in Cebuano.
  7. Precautions for Face-to-Face Meetings: Those who have any flu-like symptoms should not attend the face-to-face meetings but should continue to meet via Zoom or other video conferencing platforms (fellowship with the serving ones in your cluster). You may seek fellowship with Bro. John Chiu or Bro. Boy Daguman. Although Zamboanga City is still under Alert Level 1, covid cases are rising. Consistent with the DOH guidelines, we strongly recommend that those who attend the face-to-face meetings wear a mask properly. This is for the protection of all the saints.
Prayer items:
  1. That the saints would learn to pray by faith according to God’s will for the fulfillment of God’s economy
    • If we ask the Lord for things that satisfy our desire, we will not receive anything. This is because our prayer is not according to God’s will for the fulfillment of God’s economy, and we are not the right persons…We must first be the right persons before God, persons who are one with God. Then we can have God as our faith and pray according to our knowledge of God’s will for the fulfillment of His economy. If we pray for something according to our desire, not according to God’s will, to fulfill our purpose, not to fulfill God’s economy, we can never have the faith in God to believe that we have received what we asked for.   2. That all the saints would be burdened for the salvation of their friends, relatives, neighbors, co-workers, and classmates
  3. For the saints to pick up the burden to shepherd the young people for the raising up of the next generation for the church life.
  4. For the health and safety of the visiting saints from Clarin this August 19-22.
  5. That the Lord would use the new government in Sri Lanka to recover the economic situation and that all the church activities would be intensified without any hindrance.

  5. ITERO Oktubre 2022: Himoon karong Oktubre 4 sa 4 ka adlaw ang ITERO Video Training alang sa mga nangalagad nga brothers: ang bayrunon sa training: P700. Mosunod ra ang ubang detalye.
  6. Bantayanan alang sa mga nagtigom nga Face-to-Face: Dili gyod motambong sa mga tigom kadtong dunay mga Flu-like symptoms hinoon magpadayon sa pagtambong pinaagi sa Zoom o sa mga lain pang video platforms ( palihog pakig-ambit sa mga nangalagad sa inyong distrito). Mahimo sab nga magtinguha og pakig-ambitay ni Brother john chiu o Brother boy daguman. Bisan naa gihapon sa alert 1 ang Zamboanga, nagkahabog gihapon ang kaso sa covid. MGA BUTANG ALANG SA PAG-AMPO:
  1. Nga makat-on ang mga balaan sa pag-ampo pinaagi sa pagtuo segu sa kabubut-on sa Dios alang sa pagtuman sa Pamatigayon sa Dios.
    • Kon mangayo ta sa Ginoo og mga butang nga makatagbaw ra sa atong kagustohan, wala tay madawat nga butang. Tungod kini kay wala man napatumong ang atong mga pag-ampo alang sa pagtuman sa Pamatigayon sa Dios, ug dili kita ang hustong tawo…..una, mahimo gyod unta tang mga hustong tawo atubangan sa Dios. Maanaa dayon tay Dios nga atong pagtuo ug mag-ampo sumala sa atong kahibalo sa kabubut-on sa Dios alang sa pagtuman sa Iyang Pamatigayon. Kon mag-ampo tag butang segun ra sa atong gusto, dili segun sa kabubut-on sa Dios, aron matuman ang atong katuyoan, dili sa pagtuman sa Pamatigayon sa Dios, wala gyod tay pagtuo diha sa Dios aron motoo nga nadawat na nato ang atong gipangayo.   2. Nga maluwanan ang tanang mga balaan sa kaluwasan sa ilang mga higala, mga paryente, mga silingan, mga ka-trabaho, ug mga klasmeyt.
