Announcements:
  1. Morning Revival: Week 10 of Crystallization-study of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth.
  2. Combined Lord’s Day Meeting: The combined Lord’s Day meeting will be moved to December 12 due to the scheduled power interruption.
  3. Full-time training in Malabon (FTTMa): The 71st term of the FTTMa will be held online and will begin on January 31, 2022. For more information, please visit https://fttmalabon.org. Application deadline: December 15, 2021.
  4. FTTMa Propagation: The propagation of the 70th term of the FTTMa will begin on December 10 and will end on December 21.
  5. Spiritual Enhancement Class: We encourage the young people to invite their friends to this class every Friday, 3:10 PM. Zoom links and topics are sent through the group chat.

Prayer items:
  1. For the saints to turn to God’s economy, to enter into the land of Immanuel, and to marry themselves to Christ that they may bring forth Christ to meet today’s need of both God and men (CS of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth, key statement #4)
  2. For the combined Lord’s Day meeting on December 12, 2021.
  3. For the vitalizing of all the saints and the carrying out of the God-ordained way in the vital groups.
  4. That the young people would be open vessels to receive the Lord’s speaking in the upcoming Tour of the Lifetime conference.
  5. For the propagation work of the trainees from December 10–21.
  6. For the health, families, finance, and job of the saints to be preserved and that they may enjoy the church life with others during the pandemic.
  7. For the saints who were affected by the turmoil and are in confusion to be brought back to the proper ground of the church.
  8. For the ministry translation and distribution in Ethiopia, Africa (see Appendix):
    • That the Lord would gain many more seekers through social media.
    • That the Lord would bless the translation work both in  Amharic and Oromo languages.

APPENDIX:

Ethiopia has more than 118 million people, seventy percent of whom are young people. Amharic is the most widely-spoken language and is also a working language. Oromo is the second most widely-spoken language, which more than forty million people speak. Currently, Amana Ethiopia Printing and Publishing is finalizing the translation and editing of two books: The All-inclusive Christ (into Amharic and Oromo) and The Knowledge of Life (into Amharic). Compared with the hunger of the young people in the country, these books will be just a crumb. We are anticipating that the Lord will gain many through these publications.

In addition, Amana Ethiopia has two social media pages and messaging groups, one for Amharic speakers and one for Oromo speakers. Each week we post a short video message in both languages as well as some daily nourishment. Currently, the posts are reaching thousands of people. Thus far, 296 people from the Amharic social media page and 200 from the Oromo page have given us their contact information for further fellowship.

Testimonies

  • A brother enjoyed the messages we posted on our social media page. He contacted us to know more about the ministry. After we gave his contact number to one of the brothers living in his city, they had more fellowship. The brother studied the Bible in a theology school. After meeting us in person during his break time, he wanted to arrange a meeting with another two hundred young people that we may introduce the ministry to them.
  • Another brother is from a city that borders Kenya. He also enjoyed our posts on social media and contacted us by phone. He has been reading Watchman Nee’s books. He wants us to meet a group of around twenty people with whom he has Bible studies in his home. But because of the snipers fighting against the government, we could not go there.
  • Another two brothers called us, and we met them in person. Both are preachers, and one is studying theology. They said that they were touched by our social media posts and are eager to learn more from the ministry.

  • Lahi sab nga igsoong lalaki nga gikan sa border sa Kenya. Napahimuslan sab niya ang atong gi-posts sa social media ug nakig-kontak siya nato pinaagi sa iyang phone. Gabasa siya sa mga basahon ni Watchman Nee. Buot niya nga makigtigom mi sa mga 20 ka tawo nga nakig-tuon niya sa biblia sa iyang balay. Apan tungod sa snipers fighting batok sa ilang gobyerno, dili mi maka-adto niadtong dapita.
  • Lahi sab nga duha ka mga igsoong lalaki ang nikontak namo, ug nakigkita mi nila sa personal. Magwawali sa ebanghelyo ang duha, ug nagtuon sa tulonghaan sa teolohiya ang usa. Namulong sila nga natandog sila sa mga post nato sa social media ug gusto gyod makat-on gikan sa pagpangalagad (ministry).
