Announcements:
  1. Morning Revival: Week 1 of Crystallization-study of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth.
  2. Combined Church Service Meeting: There will be a combined church service meeting this afternoon at 1:30 PM.
  3. October 2021 ITERO: The training for the elders and responsible ones will be held online from October 8-10, 2021. Only registered brothers are allowed to join. If you have not yet received links and outlines for the training, please contact Bro. Boy Daguman.
  4. Spiritual Enhancement Class: Every Friday afternoon from 3:10-4:10 PM, the church is hosting a spiritual enhancement class for the students of Ferndale International School. The Zoom meeting will be open to all our young people and their friends to this class. Zoom details and invitations are sent weekly through the YP Zamboanga group chat.
  5. Subject of the December Semiannual Training: The December 2021 Semiannual Training will crystallize the books of 1 & 2 Samuel. Schedule of the training will be announced at a later time. In preparation for the training, Living Stream has made available the Life-study of the Bible with Witness Lee radio program available on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/c/LivingStreamMinistry.

Prayer items:
  1. Pray that the saints would do God a favor by responding to God’s call for overcomers (HWMR CS of Joshua, Judges, and Ruth, week 1).
  2. Pray for the Lord’s speaking to the responsible brothers during the ITERO.
  3. Pray for the saints to be formed into prayer, Bible study, and gospel vital groups.
  4. Pray for the parents to cooperate with God for His move, having a sense of being entrusted with their children, cultivating and nurturing them in the Lord. (See Appendix)
  5. Pray for the various needs of the saints who are in sickness and who have lost their loved ones.
  6. Pray for the eyes of the saints who were affected by the turmoil to be opened to see a clear vision of the Lord’s recovery, being released from darkness and brought back to the church life.
Appendix:

The church cannot go on if parents do not have a sense of being entrusted; God has committed a human body, along with his soul, into our hands; we do not want to see our children needing to be rescued back from the world.

We are wrong if we do not take care of our children; please remember that it is the parents’ responsibility to ensure that their children turn out the right way. When the children are young, they are in our hands and can do nothing much themselves; if we are loose with ourselves, we will also be loose with them; we must realize that parents must exercise self-control, sacrificing their own freedom.

After the church preaches the gospel and saves men, it has to deal with all kinds of family problems associated with these men; but if parents are responsible for the proper nurturing of their children, and if the children are brought up in the church, the church will be relieved of half of its burdens. Dili makapadayon ang Iglesia kon walay pagbati ang mga ginikanan ingon nga mga tinugyanan. Nagabuhat ang Dios og tawhanong lawas, uban sa iyang kalag, sa atong mga kamot; Dili ta ganahan nga makit-an ang atong mga anak nga kinahanglan tabangan pag-usab gikan sa kalibotan.

Sayop ta kon dili nato atimanan ang atong mga anak; palihog hinumdomi nga kaakohan sa mga ginikanan nga siguradong maanaa sa maayong dalan ang ilang mga anak.
