Political Situation in Myanmar
Last February 1, Myanmar’s military detained their President in the country’s first coup since 1988, bringing an end to a decade of civilian rule. The military claimed that the election won by the President was marred by fraud. This prompted a nationwide protest by the people of Myanmar against the military. The military had responded by firing water cannons at protesters, imposing restrictions and curfews in some areas. As of January 2021, there are 79 churches in Myanmar with over 5000 saints. Please pray for the saints and the Lord’s testimony in Myanmar.
